Are you Kosher?
Wise Sons Delicatessen is NOT certified Kosher. However, we do not serve pork or shellfish, and we do offer in season vegetarian options.

Why is catering pricing different than in-store pricing?
There are many considerations to take into account when looking to have a meal catered, including service, packaging, utensils, travel, & menu variation.

How early do I need to place my order?
We request that orders are finalized and paid minimum 48 hours advance. Last-minute orders subject to availability – visit one of our locations to inquire about in-store pick-up within 48-hours.

Can I get my order delivered?
Yes, delivery in is a option via our partners at Doordash. Delivery pricing is not included in our standard meal options and vary depending on order size and distance. Deliveries start at $26 and are 12% of the order subtotal (longer distances may incur and added fee based on mileage)

Is there a minimum delivery?
No, there is no order minimum for delivery though there is a minimum $26 delivery fee.

How far do you deliver?
Delivery is available for up to 30 miles from our SF locations. Please note we need minimum a weeks advance notice for orders going longer distances and are subject to Doordashes’ driver availability. For delivery outside of this area, please contact us.

Does your food contain allergens?
Yes, some of our food does contain allergens. Our equipment is used to process nuts, seeds & dairy. In many cases we may be able accommodate your dietary needs, but in some cases we are unable to ensure that items are 100% free of these ingredients. Please contact us with any questions or requests.

Do you have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options?
Yes, we are happy to provide a seasonal selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Even better- all of our bagels are vegan! Gluten free items are subject to an additional charge and availability.

Are half platters available?
We’re sorry but we only make our platters in one standard size (serves 12). Alternatively, we are able to find ways to increase your order should you have a couple extra people by adding extras, bagels, shmears etc- just ask!

Will my bagels come pre-sliced?
Yes, all bagels ordered through catering will come pre-sliced unless requested otherwise.

Are serving and eating utensils included in my order?
Serving utensils are included complimentary and all beverages with include cups. Eating utensils are available for purchase at $1 per person (please note, lunch boxes are the exception and come with eating utensils included complimentary).

Do you off special menus for Holidays i.e Passover, Hanukkah, Rosh Hashanah etc?
Yes, we cover almost every major Jewish holiday and will have our holidays menus posted on our website during these times. You can receive live updates by signing up for our mailing list!

Do you have an option to add set-up, clean-up and on-site service for a Home & Office Catering?
Yes, we are happy to provide you with various options for set-up, clean-up and onsite service. Please inquire about our rate for these services and availability.

What are my payment options?
We accept all major credit cards, check & wire transfers. There may be a processing fee for extra large catering orders paid by credit card. Orders and events over $2000 will require a deposit and or a credit card for security purposes.

Can I update my order once it has been paid and confirmed?
Contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Can I cancel my order once it has been paid and confirmed?
Yes, as long as you let us know at least 48 hours in advance. Orders cancelled within 48 hours will be charged 100% of the total invoice.
