Partnership With RightHear
Wise Sons is excited to announce a significant enhancement in accessibility at its locations through a partnership with RightHear. This initiative represents a commitment to improving accessibility for all, particularly for people who are blind or have low vision.
The RightHear system enhances the user experience by enabling individuals with visual impairments to acquire better orientation at the deli independently. Upon entering, users can use their smartphones to receive audio instructions and directions, helping them identify key features such as entrances, restrooms, and service counters. Available in up to 26 languages, this technology addresses the needs of the Bay Area’s diverse community.
Key features of the RightHear system at Wise Sons Deli include:
- Real-Time Audio Assistance: The RightHear mobile app, available for both iOS and Android, provides real-time audio guidance that describes the layout of the deli and highlights essential areas.
- Orientation Assistance: This feature offers audio descriptions of the surroundings, enabling patrons to locate important facilities like the ordering counter with greater ease.
- Event and Service Information: Detailed updates about menu changes and special announcements are provided, ensuring that all guests receive the most current information.
